Les Courtils de Monchevron
Nestled in the heart of the Couesnon valley, in Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon, the artisanal cider house Les Courtils de Monchevron has been producing corked cider and apple juice since 1991 using an authentic manufacturing process.
Each autumn, nearly 120 suppliers, men or women, young or old, active or retired, mostly from the Pays de Fougères, but also from the Pays de Vitré or the Rennes basin, deliver their apples from Brittany's rich cider-making heritage to produce this emblematic drink of Brittany.
Ciders and apple juice are available in creperies, grocery stores or local producers' stores. But also directly at the cider house, every Friday from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m. or on other days by appointment.
