This Garden is laid out in a deep valley along the Nançon river, at the foot of the northern ramparts of the city. An industrial site at the beginning of the century then occupied by allotment gardens, Val Nançon extends over 2 hectares and is characterized by a succession of atmospheres to discover as you walk along. There is, in particular, a botanical garden, a priest's garden, testimony to the nearby presence of the ruins of an old abbey, a plant cage and a colorful hillside. Finally, “the work of life” is a contemporary glass sculpture signed Louis-Marie Catta in 2000, a symbol of peace and the meeting of world cultures.
