The horse is in the spotlight (one of the pillars of life in the past for plowing and transport); chouannerie; the old professions (the washerwoman, the repairer)…

Getting to the starting point to report a problem

Step 1: Departure Town Hall Square

Town hall car park. The town hall behind you, take the departmental road to the right towards Fougères for 50 m then turn left towards the Valleys. At the end of the road turn right onto the dirt road.

Step 2: Pork with Chouans

Follow the path which crosses a stream and then a grove. Then turn left to take a long sunken road, otherwise called "Pors" which is none other than the famous "Pors aux chouans".

Stage 3: The hamlet of Dimaigné

At the end of the sunken lane join the path. Turn left at the next crossroads. Cross a field and reach the hamlet of Dimaigné.

Step 4: The claw

At the exit of the hamlet take a path lined with trees on the right, and join La Grifferais.

Stage 5: Return path towards the Valleys

Once you have crossed the Grifferais, follow the signs to return to the village of Le Ferré. Turn right after Les Vallées, then left to reach the village.
