Description

From one source to another, this circuit will allow you to discover the town of Poilley and the nearby village of Gaufresne.
The presence of water running from stream to washhouse and from springs to pond will make this easy course a relaxing and pleasant moment, discovering a specific flora of the wet bottoms.

Getting to the starting pointto report a problem

Step 1: Depart Poilley Church

Appointment for the departure place of the church then leave the borough by skirting the Western frontage of the church.

Step 2: The alms cross

Before fording the stream to the right on a stony passage to continue the path, possibility of continuing straight ahead to reach a natural area (possibility of reaching the village by this path). After crossing the stream, walk along fields, pass under the RD bridge, continue straight, then turn left.

Step 3

Go over the dyke in front of a second source, turn left at the next crossing towards Gaufresne. Turn right after the first house.

Step 4

At the next crossing, a straight detour allows you to discover the old Gaufresne quarry. Return to the starting road by taking twice to the right, take the bridge over the detour (not yet shown on the map), reach the town center by a pleasant path starting on the left.
