Destination Fougères, a brand new structure
The Destination Fougères tourist office is a Local Public Company (SPL) born in March 2019 from the merger of two former associations: the Tourist country of Fougères and IPays de Fougères Tourist Office.
Our two main missions
1) Welcome and advise visitors, tourists and locals of the territory.
Le Travel advice center brings together a team of field professionals who provide you with in-depth knowledge of the Pays de Fougères and personalized follow-up and stays for all visitor profiles: hiking or biking enthusiasts, castle and heritage enthusiasts, passing by the gourmets of authentic local products.
The team Marketing & Groups Division is the privileged interlocutor to prepare your next trip throughout the Pays de Fougères.
Within the office, our expert in gites and furnished rentals markets and assists clients with reservations for a selection of quality and trustworthy accommodation.
Destination Fougères offers groups, associations, agencies and coach operators a selection of turnkey or tailor-made excursions to discover the territory from unmissable sites to the most secret ones.
The ticket office for local events as well as the accommodation reservation center allow tourism professionals to delegate management to Destination Fougères and promote their offers. The Tourist Office shop completes this discovery offer.
Le Promotion and Communication Department aims to publicize our Destination through print (brochures, maps) and digital (website, social networks, newsletters, blog) tools. We are aimed at visitors as well as locals who like to rediscover their country.
2) Support and accompany businesses and players in the tourism economy from information to marketing.
Le Development Division supports project leaders from idea to market launch: formalization of the product or service, assessment of economic feasibility, advice on administrative and legal frameworks, search for financial aid, quality procedures, support for a promotional strategy, etc
