Want to discover local flavors and local people? Armed with your basket, go to the market and immerse yourself in the gourmet atmosphere of the region's products. From small farmers' markets to the imposing Fougères market, there is something for everyone!

Shopping in Fougères

Every Saturday morning, between Place Aristide Briand and Place du Belfry, the town of Fougères comes alive around its large weekly market. With around 80 exhibitors, each street corner is full of different products. Foodies will rather go to rue Nationale to buy vegetables, fruit and seafood, while lovers of unpacking will rather go to Place Aristide Briand. The later ones will take advantage of this square to stroll around a drink on the terrace accompanied by the traditional sausage galette.

Also meet on Thursday mornings on boulevard de Groslay, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Quartier des Cotterêts market
