Come by car
We know that all roads lead to Fougères, but here is your itinerary to get to the best of it:
- 40 minutes from Rennes
- 50 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel
- 1h45 from Nantes
- 1h45 from Le Mans
- 3h20 from Paris
- From Rennes, you have to take the A 84 (This highway is free! Yes yes !), and take exit N°29, then follow the green national signs “Fougères”.
- From Paris, it is the A 11 motorway that you have to choose, with the Le Mans exit, then head towards the A81 and the N12 to reach Fougères.
- Coming from Vitré, choose the Fougères direction and take the departmental D178.
- Coming from Saint-Malo, choose the Fougères direction and take the D155 department.

To come to Fougères by train, you just have to reach the Rennes train station then take the connection by coach to Fougères.

To discover the city of Fougères in its smallest corners, you can move serenely with the SURF bus network, offering single tickets (€1,10) or day tickets (€3).
The network serves the main tourist sites, cultural sites, shopping centres, school and sports facilities in the towns of Fougères and Javené Lécousse.
