Les Ateliers du dimanche avec Richard Jouy

Every Sunday in spring, a professional artist introduces children to his artistic practice and designs tailor-made workshops so that they can experience making a work of art to take home.

Richard Jouy creates unusual works from recycled objects (linoleum, carpet, mortar, tape or scrap textiles) whose identity and original utility he diverts.

Workshop 1 – “Postcard from you” – March 24, April 14 and May 5
From reproductions of personal photos, various images or illustrations of your choice, you will create a collage like a self-portrait or mental map.

Workshop 2 – “Add to your story” – March 31, April 21, May 12
With the objects you bring, you will build a totem sculpture by assembling it with all these little anecdotal pieces of your life!

Workshop 3 – “Meeting of objects” – April 7 and 28, May 19
From two chosen elements, as different as possible or with qualities that you like, you will try to create a work, which will depict a relationship between the two of them, on a base or support.

For children aged 6 to 10 – Registration required (Workshop limited to 8 children per Sunday)
