Every year works of art are temporarily exhibited in the city for the annual exhibition “Place aux Arts”. This creates questions among tourists who discover the city and its sometimes special facilities. Over the years it has become customary for the town of Fougères to purchase one of the statues exhibited as part of this annual exhibition. The town hall has been doing this since 2018, as a way to thank the artist for their dedication to sharing culture. This then allowed the city to expand its collection from year to year. But the works that you will discover in this top 10 are not all from these exhibitions.
