👨 🍳 Today, we're going to taste! The Destination Fougères Tourist Office offers you a recipe with apple: the Gratin Fougerais.

🍽Ingredients:

  • 250 g green leek, cut into small pieces
  • 500 g of potatoes
  • 1/2 liter of cider
  • 10 cl of fresh cream
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • And coarse salt of course!

🍳 Preparation:

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips
  • Cut the leek into thin strips.
  • Fry the green leek in olive oil in a casserole dish also suitable for the oven.
  • Preheat the oven to 180° (th. 6)
  • Add the coarse salt and the potatoes to the casserole and mix well.
  • Add the cider, + water so that everything is well covered
  • When it boils, turn off and put the casserole without the lid for 1 hour in the oven at 180°.
  • Stir once or twice during cooking, without breaking the potatoes!
  • Add a little water if necessary.
  • After an hour, check that the potatoes are cooked, turn off the oven and let stand.
  • Just before serving, add the liquid cream. Pour into a gratin dish, and put in the oven, grill function, until golden brown.
